Sterilization of medical products
The company “Mediteс” sterilize of the products using the gas method at own facilities.
Ethylene oxide is used as the sterilizing agent. The management and control of the sterilization process are carried out automatically with registration and monitoring of the key parameters of the sterilization process. Multilevel control is applied to confirm the quality of sterilization. We use sterilization indicators on each individual package, and each group container has a separate sterility indicator. Biological indicators and ongoing monitoring of bacteriological safety ensure that the products are completely safe.
The development, validation, and routine control of the sterilization processes for medical products are carried out in accordance to the requirements of DSTU EN ISO 11135 “Sterilization of health care products – Ethylene oxide – Requirements for the development, validation, and routine control of a sterilization process for medical devices.”
