Silk (ShK) woven

Silk suture is a sterile material that is conditionally non-absorbable, consisting of natural protein fibers of raw silk spun by the silkworm with a coating based on wax or silicone. Silk easily passes through tissue and forms secure knots. Surgical silk threads are supplied with atraumatic needles, as well as separate ligatures of various lengths without needles.

Specifications:

  • Sizes: USP 8/0 – USP 7;
  • Shelf life: 5 years;
  • Color: black;

Composition: natural protein fibers of raw silk spun by the silkworm with a coating based on wax or silicone;
