Ultra-lightweight meshes

Ultra-lightweight mesh implants with macropores are used to reinforce small defects, particularly in pediatric surgery. The use of ultra-thin monofilaments helps to reduce painful reactions during the postoperative period. The asymmetric weaving of the implants results in different stiffness in the longitudinal and transverse directions. The combination of macro- and micropores creates ideal conditions for connective tissue ingrowth into the thickness of the implant. Special edge processing prevents mesh unraveling even under intense loading.
